The Delegation Hub is a one-stop-shop for delegations to access all the necessary information to register athletes and prepare for the event.
From event schedules to accommodation options and transportation arrangements, this hub is designed to streamline the process and ensure athletes can focus on giving their best performance at the games.
* Reminder: To ensure that athletes are accurately registered for State Events, registration forms will continue to require a 5-character alphanumeric Eligibility ID instead of athlete DOB and Gender. You can find an athlete’s Eligibility ID in your area’s SharePoint SOVA document library in the column to the left of the athlete’s medical form. If the athlete does not have an Eligibility ID, that means they are not eligible to register for the State Event. Please reach out to medicals@specialolympicsva.org if you have any questions about an athlete’s participation eligibility.
ALL REGISTRATION IS DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 28TH @ 11:59PM.
* Housing: Based on HOD form submissions, areas will have a tailored registration experience in regard to housing. **DORM: For areas whose HOD selected DORM housing, coaches will NOT be required to enter roommates during registration. Instead, HOD’s will be sent the dorm housing worksheet to complete after registration. **HOTEL: For areas whose HOD selected HOTEL housing, coaches will be asked to submit roommates just like other state games registration. Housing lists may still be updated as needed after Summer Games registration, but all changes must be finalized by May 15th.
