Get ready to shine at the Spirit of the James Cheer Competition! The event will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 9 AM – 1 PM at New Kent High School. Teams will perform a chant, cheer, and dance, along with Level 0–2 stunts, jumps, and tumbling.

The 2025 SSG will be hosted by Bridgewater College and offer bocce, golf (Level 4), pickleball doubles (traditional/unified), soccer 5-a-side, volleyball team (traditional/unified) and Skills for pickleball, soccer and volleyball. Registration links will be available in late September, if you are outside of the Shenandoah Region please email Mike below to be added to the invitational list.

Come on out to the River City Regional Basketball Tournament and cheer on our athletes as they compete for the chance to go to the Basketball State Championships.

The Woodberry Forest Basketball Tournament is a regional qualifying basketball tournament held for Special Olympics Virginia athletes. The event begins with an Opening Ceremony kick off followed by tournament play involving full court traditional, full court Unified, half court, and individual skills competition.
