Sports: Volleyball, Soccer, and Bocce

The 2025 SSG will be hosted by Bridgewater College and offer bocce, golf (Level 4), pickleball doubles (traditional/unified), soccer 5-a-side, volleyball team (traditional/unified) and Skills for pickleball, soccer and volleyball. Registration links will be available in late September, if you are outside of the Shenandoah Region please email Mike below to be added to the invitational list.

Regional basketball tournament offering full court 5v5 (traditional/unified), half court 3v3 (traditional) and Skills level 1, 2 and Team Skills. If you are outside of the Shenandoah Region please email Mike below to be added to the invitational list.

The Woodberry Forest Basketball Tournament is a regional qualifying basketball tournament held for Special Olympics Virginia athletes. The event begins with an Opening Ceremony kick off followed by tournament play involving full court traditional, full court Unified, half court, and individual skills competition.

VMI will host a great day of sports on their historic grounds in Lexington Virginia, bringing together VMI Cadets and SOVA Athletes for a memorable experience of fun and competition. If you are outside of the Shenandoah Region please email Mike below to be added to the invitational list.
