More than 1,200 athletes, 800 volunteers, and 200 coaches came together in Virginia Beach for the 2025 Fall Championships, celebrating a weekend of sports, inclusion, and community. Athletes competed in seven sports — golf, volleyball, pickleball, bocce, bowling, soccer, and roller skating — surrounded by fans, volunteers, and coaches cheering them on as they aimed for gold.
From powerful serves and precise putts to perfect rolls and fast-paced plays, every sport reflected the energy and excitement that define the Fall Championships. Athletes competed with heart, lifting one another up and showing that true strength comes from courage and community.
This unforgettable weekend was made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and fans who continue to champion inclusion across Virginia. Thank you for helping us make the 2025 Fall Championships a true celebration of community and the best of humanity.
Together, we are Special Olympics Virginia.
