A Record Breaking Year for Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull

Participants raised $440,000 in the 30th anniversary of Plane Pull.

Participants were back on the ropes for the 30th anniversary of the Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull this year. With 75 teams competing, hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of spectators, the 2022 Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull at Washington Dulles International Airport was a record breaking event.

When the dust settled, it was Chesapeake Sheriff's Department taking home the top prize for the 14th consecutive year. They pulled a FedEx Airbus 12 feet in just 5.6 seconds to win the competition. However, it was Team Cisco who took home the prize as the top fundraising team. To see all the results from Plane Pull, click here.
