How long have you been involved with Special Olympics and with which sports?
14 years - Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Bowling, Bocce.
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
Special Olympics has changed my life for the better. I have a new appreciation for unified sports and the inclusion of athletes. All of my best friends are involved in Special Olympics and I actually met my wife through Special Olympics!
What does attending the USA Games mean to you?
Attending the 2022 USA Games means the world to me. I am so excited for this opportunity to coach some amazing athletes from Virginia!
How are you preparing for the USA Games?
I have a goal to lose 60 lbs by next June and to run a half marathon. I want to help set a good fitness example for all of our athletes.
