It's not all about lighting the torch. Our dedicated officers provide support through fundraising events all year round. From covering their cruisers to hosting golf tournaments, Virginia's finest are exactly that.

Wawa with the Law

Officers spend the day at their local Wawa store to collect donations and "cover their cruiser" with icons.
The best part is that their goose won't hiss at you!

Cops on the Coop

Next time you are in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru, look up and you just might see a "Cop on the Coop." But then look back down again so you can see where you're going.

Golf Tournaments

Nothing eases the stress of a life in law enforcement than an afternoon on the greens. Well, maybe not nothing, but nothing as rewarding.

Hardee's Star Campaign

Each year, officers gather at their local Hardee's to collect donations and smiles while covering the restaurant in "stars." Let's be real, those biscuits are really the true stars.

Region 10 Community Run

All community members are welcome to join Roanoke County Sheriffs Office, Roanoke County Police Department, Vinton Police Department, Western VA Regional Jail, and Probation and Parole for their 2.1 mile Torch Run through Southwest, VA. The run will begin at 10:00AM and will end at 3270 Electric Rd Roanoke Va 24018.

Wise County Community Run

Valero gas station ( 216 Orby Cantrell Hwy, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219)

All community members are welcome to join The Wise County Sheriff's Office, Norton Police, and the Wise Co. Commonwealth Attorney's Office for their 34 mile Torch Run through Southwest, VA. The run will begin at 8AM and will end at Freedom Chevrolet S9t. Paul Va at 16600 Riverside Dr).

Region 9 Community Run

1779 Pamplin Road, Pamplin VA 23958. (High Bridge Trail)

All community members are welcome to join Appomattox Sheriff's Office and Prince Edward Sheriff's Office for there 3.7 mile Torch Run in Southwest, VA. The run will begin at 8:00AM and will end off U.S. 460 at Sulphur Springs Road near trail milepost 18W In Elam VA, (High Bridge Trail).

Virginia Beach Community Run

All community members are welcome to join The Virginia Beach Police Department and Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office for their 3 mile Torch Run through Virginia Beach, VA. The run will begin at 8:30AM at Wegmans and will end at Endependence Center Inc (6300 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk VA)

Eastern Shore Community Run

3462 Main Street, Exmore, Va. 23350

All community members are welcome to join Northampton County Sheriff's Office, Virginia State Police, Exmore Police Department, Eastville Police Department, Cape Charles Police Department, and Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Police Department for their 2.36 mile Torch Run through the Eastern Shore. The run will begin at 8:30AM and will end at 32383 Lankford Highway, Cape Charles, Va. 23310.

Chesapeake Community Run

Chesapeake City Park (900 City Park Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23320)

All community members are welcome to join The Chesapeake Sheriff's Office for their 3.9 mile Torch Run through Chesapeake, VA. The run will begin at 7:00AM and will end at Chesapeake City Hall (306 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).

Newport News Community Run

Wawa (5280 W Mercury Blvd Hampton, VA)

All community members are welcome to join The Newport News Police Department for their 1.2 mile Torch Run through Newport News, VA. The run will begin at 10:00AM and will end at 9710 Jefferson Avenue Newport News, VA. Newport News will be meeting Hampton Law Enforcement to pass the torch at WAWA!

York - Poquoson Community Run

All community members are welcome to join the York - Poquoson Sheriff's Office for their 3.5 mile Torch Run through York County, VA. The run will begin at 1:30PM and will end at Virginia Beer Company (401 2nd St, Williamsburg, VA 23185).

James City County Community Run

All community members are welcome to join The James City County Police Department for their 13 mile Torch Run through Williamsburg/James City County, VA. The run will begin at 8:30AM and will end at 15810 Liberty Church Rd, Lanexa, VA 23089.

All community members are welcome to join Stafford County Law Enforcement for their 8 mile Torch Run through Stafford, VA. The run will begin at 6:00AM and will end at Falmouth Bridge.

Fredricksburg Community Run

All community members are welcome to join Fredericksburg Police Department, Fire Department, and Sheriff's Office for their 3 mile Torch Run through Fredricksburg, VA. The run will begin at 8:00AM and will end at 3 Learning Lane.

Chesterfield County Community Run

All community members are welcome to join The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office, Police Department, ECC and Fire Department for their 6.2 mile Torch Run through Chesterfield, VA. The run will begin at 9AM and will end at Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center (6610 Public Safety Way, Chesterfield, VA 23832).

Hanover County Community Run

Starting at the Pamunkey Jail/Range Area

All community members are welcome to join Hanover County Sheriff's Office for their 8 mile Torch Run through Central, VA. The run will begin at 9:00AM and will end at Virginia Center Commons area near the new Henrico Sports and Event Center!

New Kent County Community Run

All community members are welcome to join The New Kent County Sheriff's Office for their 10 mile Torch Run through New Kent, VA. The run will begin at 11:30AM and will end at 9030 Pocahontas Trail. New Kent will be picking the torch up from James City County Police Department!

Warrenton Community Run

Walmart - Warrenton, VA

All community members are welcome to join Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, Warrenton Police, and Virginia State Police for their 2.5 mile Torch Run in Warrenton, VA. The run will begin at 10:00AM and will end at Warrenton Police Department.

Arlington County Community Run

Long Bridge Park

All community members are welcome to join Arlington County Sheriff's Office, Arlington County Police Department, Arlington County Fire Department and Law Enforcement Partners for their 3.6 mile Torch Run through Arlington, VA. The run will begin at 8:30AM and will end at 1 Marina Drive.

Prince William Community Run

5036 Davis Ford Road Woodbridge VA

All community members are welcome to join The Prince William County Police, Sheriff's Office, Manassas City, and Manassas Park for their 6.5 mile Torch Run through Northern VA. The run will begin at 9:00AM and will end at 14288 Independent Hill Drive Manassas VA. Everyone will meet at 14288 Independent Hill at 9am then busing runners to Davis Ford Road.

Shenandoah Events

Shenandoah County Community Run

Shenandoah County Government Center (Woodstock, VA)

All community members are welcome to join Woodstock Police Department, Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office, Central Campus Students, and Community for their 3 mile Torch Run through Woodstock, VA. The run will begin at 9AM and will end at Central High School Track (Woodstock, VA).

Winchester Community Run

Winchester Old Town Walking Mall in front of El Centro

All community members are welcome to join Winchester Police Department for their 5 mile Torch Run through Winchester, VA. The run will begin at 8:00AM and will end at DSP Barricks On Valley Pike.

Waynesboro Community Run

Willy's Ice cream Shop

All community members are welcome to join Waynesboro Police Department for their 7 mile Torch Run through Waynesboro, VA. The run will begin at 1:00PM and will end at Afton Mountain.

Region 8 Community Run

Albemarle County Police Department - 1600 5th St. ext

All community members are welcome to join Region 8 agencies (Albemarle County PD & Charlottesville PD) for their 3.2 mile Torch Run through VA. The first leg of the run will be from ACPD to the Charlottesville Fire Department (203 Ridge St.) This leg of the run is approximately 2.6 miles. After a short break at the Fire Department, the run will continue, taking us down to the historic Charlottesville Downtown Mall, to the Charlottesville Police Department which is approximately .6 miles. Runners that do not wish to run the entire 3.2 miles can join us at the Charlottesville Fire Department to run the last .6 mile leg of our Torch Run! The run will begin at 5PM!
