It's not all about lighting the torch. Our dedicated officers provide support through fundraising events all year round. From covering their cruisers to hosting golf tournaments, Virginia's finest are exactly that.
Wawa with the Law
Officers spend the day at their local Wawa store to collect donations and "cover their cruiser" with icons.

Each year, officers gather at their local Hardee's to collect donations and smiles while covering the restaurant in "stars." Let's be real, those biscuits are really the true stars.

Daleville Community Run
Botetourt Family YMCA (115 Shenandoah Ave, Daleville, VA 24083)
All community members are welcome to join the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office for their 2 mile Torch Run through Daleville, VA. The run will begin at 9AM. They will begin at the YMCA to Fit Body Boot Camp where they will stop for a "mini Murph challenge" for whoever would like to participate. Once finished, we will run 1 mile back to the YMCA. There will also be an alternate walking route for those not able to run.
Martinsville Community Run
Dick and Willie Trail, Jones Creek, Martinsville, VA
All community members are welcome to join Martinsville Probation and Parole for their 3 mile Torch Run through Dick and Willie Trail. The run will begin at 9AM. The participants will have the opportunity to walk/ run with employees of Martinsville Probation and Parole!
Roanoke County Community Run
4458 Electric rd, Roanoke Va, 24018
All community members are welcome to join the Roanoke County Sheriff's Office, Roanoke County PD, Vinton PD, Probation and Parole, and The Western Virginia Regional Jail for their 2.1 mile Torch Run through Roanoke, VA. The run will begin at 10AM and will start/end at 4458 Electric rd, Roanoke Va, 24018.
Martinsville Community Run
55 West Church St, Martinsville VA 24112
All community members are welcome to join the Martinsville Police Department, Martinsville Sheriff's Office, and Henry County Sheriff's Office for their 22 mile Torch Run through Martinsville, VA to Danville's city limits. The run will begin at 8AM. This event has Support and Gear (SAG) accommodations. The participants will have the opportunity to run and rest as often as they like while the event is in motion in a Police RV and other SAG vehicles.

All community members are welcome to join the Southampton Sheriff's Office for their 2.8 mile Torch Run through Courtland VA. The run will begin at 10AM and will end at 25499 Florence St., Courtland, Va 23837.
Virginia Beach Community Run
Wegman's, 4721 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach
All community members are welcome to join The Virginia Beach Police Department and The Sheriff's Office for their 3.1 mile Torch Run through Virginia Beach, VA. The run will begin at 8:30AM and will end at Endependence Center Inc (6300 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk VA)
Chesapeake Community Run
Chesapeake City Park (900 City Park Drive)
All community members are welcome to join the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office for their 3.9 mile Torch Run through Chesapeake, VA. The run will begin at 7AM and will end at Chesapeake City Hall (306 Cedar Rd).

All community members are welcome to join Culpeper Police Department and other neighboring jurisdictions for there 5k Torch Run. The run will begin at 8:30AM. The run will begin at 8AM. All runners and walkers are welcome to come out and support Special Olympics VA!
