I want to be apart of the Youth Leadership Council because I value the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals who uphold similar values and the urge to promote inclusivity across our state. With the opportunity to serve on the council, I wish to further expand Special Olympics programs through the state and within my own school system. I have had the honor to witness the joy and opportunity Special Olympics grants to my brother and my friends first-hand, and with this responsibility, I wish to inform all the communities of the importance of acceptance and equal opportunity.
