Anna has been involved with Special Olympics since she was 8 years old. In addition to bowling, she has participated in Special Olympics pickleball, bocce, soccer, track & field, and golf. She attended the 2022 USA Games as a bowler and is looking forward to being on the national stage again this June. Thanks to Special Olympics, Anna has become more active and made new friends. She has a broader social outlet, has learned new skills and has become more independent. Her biggest challenge has been navigating social interactions, but she has learned to be more confident and comfortable.
