Chick-fil-A® Richmond Is Rooting for Local Athletes Return to the Playing Field

The beloved chicken sandwich chain is passionate about sharing local athletes’ stories with their loyal fans.

Beginning August 2nd through August 14th, all 20 Richmond Market Chick-fil-A® restaurants will highlight the stories of 22 local Special Olympics Virginia athletes through a digital cause marketing campaign.

Chick-fil-A® Richmond is passionate about supporting the athletes within their communities as they gear up for their return to the playing fields this fall. In addition to making a financial contribution to Special Olympics Virginia, the restaurants will also share athletes’ stories on their social media channels, encouraging their followers to learn more about Special Olympics and the ID community.

Some of the restaurants will welcome the athlete they are featuring for a meet and greet with Chick-fil-A® Team Members as a way to celebrate and meaningfully engage with them.

We should be about more than just selling chicken. We should be a part of our customers’ lives and the communities in which we serve.
S. TRUETT CATHY 1921—2014

Chick-fil-A® hopes that their loyal fans will be excited about this community partnership and will look for ways to connect with Special Olympics Virginia programs within their community this fall.

Be sure to follow your Chick-fil-A® Richmond market location on social media so you can share posts about our superstar Special Olympics athletes, and visit them in the drive-thru to thank them for their incredible support!
