When the Area 11 Volleyball Team hits the court, you feel it right away. The focus. The encouragement. The belief in one another. For them, it’s more than a game. It’s a shared commitment to compete, support, and grow together.
This is a team that truly plays for each other. They show up to practice ready to work and ready to support anyone who needs a hand. They bring energy and encouragement into every match and every moment. The bond they share is so strong, the team has become like a family.
On the court, disability becomes an afterthought. Whether they are learning new plays, strengthening teamwork, or sharing motivation, this is where they feel free to show their full potential and push their limits together.
Some athletes face short-term memory challenges. Others are hard of hearing and use sign language or visual cues to communicate. What stands out most is how quickly teammates step in to translate, guide, or lift each other up. For Area 11, inclusion is not just a belief. It is built into how they train, how they compete, and how they show up for each other every day.
They work hard, travel together, and stay connected through wins and losses. They celebrate the victories. They shake off the tough games. What matters most is the way they move forward, always side by side.
This 2025 Fall Championships, they will bring their determination and drive to Virginia Beach.
