And, while—throughout the year—I’m thankful for you, there’s no better day than today to remind you of that. I’m profoundly grateful for the enduring strength and spirit of the Special Olympics Virginia community, and for your contributions to that.
Because of you and the thousands of dedicated athletes, volunteers, partners, and fans across Virginia, the magic that is Special Olympics shines brighter than ever. More people with intellectual disabilities (ID) and their families have become part of our mighty and joyful movement; transforming lives, futures, and perceptions of what is possible.
You help Special Olympics Virginia train and empower athletes with ID, on and off the field, setting the stage for our athletes to be celebrated for the champions they are. You are part of creating moments that inspire, transcend differences, and move us toward a world where everyone feels included.
