The 757 Young Professionals Board is so excited to kick-off the 2nd term with an all-star group of passionate professionals from all over Hampton Roads! Here is what the members of YPB are looking forward to this year, and why they got involved with SOVA:
"I joined 757 YPB to reconnect with the Special Olympics and its local athletes in Hampton Roads. As the 757 YPB Treasurer, I am excited to grow the reach and depth of SOVA through the energetic efforts of his fellow YPB members!" -Bill Delmar
"I have been volunteering with Special Olympics for 7 years and was excited to get involved in a different capacity with other like-minded, passionate young professionals. The community that Special Olympics fosters with the athletes, their families, volunteers, and staff is so special and unique. I am fortunate to be a part of it!" -Madeline Barrera
"I was honored to meet and spend time with a few special athletes during my time as a professional baseball player. One group in particular, The Courage Kenny Blizzards, happened to be staying at the same hotel our team was during spring training in Phoenix. That interaction with those young athletes sticks with me today and I'm excited to share my love of sports with this community!" -Trey Barham
