Tyler heads to Minnesota as a swimmer, and has been involved in the Special Olympics for 11 years, starting when he was just 6 years old. In addition to swimming, Tyler has participated in basketball, bowling, pickleball, dance, tennis, softball, flag football, and track & field. The Special Olympics has helped him grow by teaching leadership, building confidence, and giving him the chance to make many friends. He is a senior at Stone Bridge High School, a Unified Champion School, where he also is involved in basketball and track. Tyler is proud to represent Virginia at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games and trains year-round to be his best. Outside of sports, he enjoys music, playing the drums, and volunteering at his local animal shelter.
