I want to be involved because I know I will be motivated to make a difference. Participating in the Special Olympics at my school as a helper and on our Executive Board has been amazing, but I want to do even more. I want to help increase participation in Special Olympics in all aspects (especially from schools that don’t yet participate) and advocate for the organization. I want to bring new ideas and be a voice for the athletes. I have had so many wonderful experiences during my time with Special Olympics, and I want others to have the same.
