Nathon Horton has been a Special Olympics Virginia athlete since 1992 that is more than three decades of golf, volleyball, bowling and basketball, and he is not slowing down.
The Powhatan High grad serves as a Global Messenger for respect, inclusion and unity, and credits Special Olympics with saving him and giving him a family, a community and his people . Nathon sits on the Special Olympics Virginia Board of Directors as an athlete board member helping steer the movement he is so invested in.
He wants everyone to know the movement is for everybody so if you are looking for someone in your corner at the other end of the rope, Nathon has your back.
