Wawa with the Law this August 17-23

From August 17 to 23, law enforcement officers from across Virginia will be outside Wawa stores, asking customers to help support Special Olympics Virginia.

Wawa with the Law is a statewide effort where officers invite people to donate a few dollars to place an icon on their police cruiser, with the goal of covering the entire vehicle. Each sticker represents support for Special Olympics athletes.

Mark your calendar to grab a coffee or a hoagie, stop by your local Wawa, and take a moment to connect with the officers and athletes in your community!

All funds raised help provide year-round sports, health programs, and leadership training for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities in Virginia. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Stop by, learn more, and show your support.

This program is part of Special Olympics Virginia’s larger partnership with Wawa. Every year Wawa sends hundreds of volunteers throughout the state to support us at our events. They also financially support our organization through their Coin Campaign, grant money, in-kind donations, Register Round-Up, and Polar Plunge. We are so grateful for their commitment to our athletes and our organization.
