Lynsi Carroll is a civilian staff member with the Prince William County Sheriff’s Office who has supported LETR for 19 years. Her favorite memory is from her first Opening Ceremony, where she was greeted by Max with a big hug and the words, “Hi, I’m Max and I’m a torch runner.” That introduction shaped her connection to the movement — one that became even more personal when her daughter was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and proved firsthand what inclusion truly means.
