Laura has been involved with Torch Run and Special Olympics for several years and is incredibly passionate about the cause. In addition to participating in many events, such as the Polar Plunge, local Torch Runs, and Opening Ceremonies, she also shows true leadership, as the local involvement grows substantially with her at the helm. Once she relocated from the bustling northern Virginia area to the southwest region, it wasn't long before she had her new locale actively involved. Luckily for Special Olympics, Laura shows no signs of slowing down, as she will be representing Team Virginia at the 2023 World Games in Berlin.
