Dion has been involved with Special Olympics for 10 years and competes in basketball, softball, track & field, and flag football. Special Olympics has given him the chance to play the sports he has always wanted. Dion is most proud of winning games and earning medals. He has worked hard to improve his communication and confidence. He works at McDonald’s as a crew member and trainer, and enjoys video games, family time, and watching TV and movies. Dion is excited to attend his first USA Games, where he looks forward to traveling and meeting other athletes. He is preparing by working out and staying healthy. He loves to sing and dance and looks up to his mom for her strength and support.
