Destiny is a senior at Goochland High School who become a Special Olympics Virginia athlete about a year, competing in track and bowling. Through Special Olympics, she has become more social, less shy, and enjoys staying active. She’s proud of achieving new goals, earning good grades, and helping in her community, and she loves being part of her team and trying new things. Destiny admires her mom, Amy, who motivates her to work hard and stay positive. Destiny loves to dance and practices twice a week with her team to prepare for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
