Daisha is a Special Olympics Virginia athlete from Quinton who has been involved for about 10 years. She has competed in bocce, basketball, bowling, track and field, and the walking club. Through Special Olympics, she has discovered new sports, made many friends, and gained confidence as a competitor. Daisha is proud to be a business owner with her own jewelry-making company and has won first place in all her Summer Games events for the past three years. She stays active by training with the SO walking club and exercising regularly to prepare for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Outside of sports, Daisha enjoys karaoke, fashion, and designing clothes, and she volunteers to help animals. She admires her mom, who inspires her to stay active and live a fun, fulfilling life.
