Christopher Pascal

Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office

Christopher Pascal, retired from the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office, dedicated more than two decades to law enforcement and service in his community. Over his 24-year career, he rose to the rank of Colonel and served as Undersheriff, working across nearly every division within the agency. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, was a Certified Jail Manager through the American Jail Association, and is a licensed polygraph examiner. A respected leader and instructor, he remained actively involved in training and mentoring throughout his career.

Pascal has also been a passionate volunteer with Special Olympics Virginia and the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for more than 20 years. First introduced through a local Torch Run and Plane Pull, he quickly found a lifelong passion—one that continues to bring him purpose and countless meaningful moments. For Colonel Pascal, Special Olympics is more than service; it’s an essential part of his life that continues to bring joy and fulfillment.

His commitment to Special Olympics Virginia has earned him numerous honors, including the 2023 Volunteer of the Year, induction into the LETR Hall of Fame, and the Kenny Fields “Unsung Hero” Award. Above all, he values time with his wife Nikki, their children, and his granddaughter, who continue to inspire his dedication to service and community.
