Christopher has been a Special Olympics Virginia athlete for 30 years, competing in basketball, soccer, swimming, bowling, volleyball, softball, golf, and tennis. He also participates in the Polar Plunge every year. Christopher loves that Special Olympics gives him the chance to play sports at his level and make many friends without feeling judged. He’s proud of his great sportsmanship and uses his sign language skills to help interpret for his deaf friends. Outside of sports, he volunteers at church and helps the homeless. Christopher represented Virginia in volleyball at the 2014 USA Games and will return to compete at the 2026 USA Games, where he looks forward to having fun, meeting new friends, and going on adventures.
