Brian is a Special Olympics Virginia flag football athlete from Virginia Beach who has been involved with the program for 30 years. In addition to flag football, he has competed in basketball, soccer, swimming, softball, and bowling. Through Special Olympics, Brian has become more outgoing and is proud of overcoming his shyness with fellow athletes. He previously competed in the Raleigh World Games in soccer and is especially proud of having his parents there to support him. Brian works as a dishwasher at Sugar Plum Bakery and is excited for his first USA Games, where he looks forward to having fun and meeting new people while continuing to train in football.
