Our Athlete Activation Team is made up of athletes interested in representing Special Olympics Virginia, virtually and in-person. Opportunities range from participation in corporate activation campaigns, donor outreach and competitions to joining us at state-level fundraisers, photoshoots, media opportunities and more.
Our goal is to provide more engagement and leadership opportunities to athletes, beyond the Global Messenger program. Athlete Activation Team members may not be comfortable sharing a formal speech, but that’s OK – a smile, simple conversation or a thank you may be all we need!
