Northern Virginia Young Professionals Board

The Northern VA Young Professional Board was established in 2019. Since it's inception, the board has collectively raised over $80,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Virginia.

In addition to their fundraising efforts, they have also volunteered at several events throughout the Northern VA corridor and have participated and hosted numerous events as well. Some of these events include: Dulles Day Festival & Plane Pull, Giving Tuesday, Mosaic and Prince William Polar Plunges. In 2019 YPB laid the foundation to establish a Young Athletes program to serve the youngest of athletes in the greater Northern VA area.

"The YPB is an assembly of motivated young people with diverse backgrounds offering opportunities to become involved in raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics while inspiring inclusion. The YPB engages with the community to build partnerships for a better tomorrow.
