Hampton Roads Young Professionals Board

Membership Requirements:

• Attendance at all quarterly YPB General Meetings
• Committee Involvement:
  
  • Social, Fundraising, Recruitment & Engagement, Volunteer or Executive
  • Attendance at monthly committee meetings at agreed upon venue or via phone
• Participation in two fundraising and two volunteer events
• Members are ages 22-40, working in the greater Hampton Roads area
• Expected annual membership contribution of $100 (can be made in multiple payments)

Objectives:

• Support Special Olympics Virginia's fundraising efforts through annual giving, participation in signature events and developing new programs.
  
• Advocate for the Special Olympics movement and educate young professionals in the Hampton Roads area to increase their involvement with the organization.
  
• Connect and engage with like-minded young professionals on the YPB and in the community through social, fundraising and volunteer opportunities.
