Zion has been involved in Special Olympics for three years and is headed to Minnesota this June to compete in flag football. He has also participated in basketball and softball - he truly loves playing sports. Being part of Special Olympics has helped Zion stay active, and he feels proud when he performs well. One challenge he has worked to overcome is spending more time outside and staying physically engaged. Zion is also proud of graduating from high school and enjoys expressing himself through art in his free time. As he prepares for USA Games, he is training by working out, practicing, and learning new football skills and plays. He’s excited to have fun, meet new people, and compete against other teams. Zion admires his mother most for her unwavering support and encouragement.
