Tiny Feet Meet Salem

Salem City Schools
“Feet Meets” are a way for schools to engage students with and without intellectual disabilities. Students practice the sports stations at their schools for six - eight weeks in preparation for the culminating Feet Meet.


Feet Meets are school events that occur during the school day. This event is for Preschool students in Salem City Schools.

Little Feet Meet at Roanoke College

Swimming

Hollins College
Athletes and volunteers are paired for individual instruction for competitive swimming. Age 8 and up.

Unified Softball

Harkrader Sports Complex, behind Christiansburg Middle School.
Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. Teams play in tournaments scheduled throughout the season.


The Tuesday evenings 6:00- 7:30. The league is for players 13 and older. Players will be placed on teams of similar age and ability. Coaches and players of all skill levels are welcome.

Track and Field practice

Christiansburg High School
Each Sunday Afternoon 2-4 pm
Athletes will work on fitness and skills while practice for Track and Field Events.
Note: Unified Bocce is at the same time and location. You can sign up for one or both. The groups will rotate participation.
