Roman has been involved in Special Olympics for many years. In addition to flag football, Roman has participated in basketball and softball. Through Special Olympics, Roman has been able to participate in extraordinary sporting events and tournaments, including some in other states like North Carolina and Maryland. Roman has made some of his closest friends through Special Olympics sports teams, some of which are coached by one of his biggest fans, his father.
