Kevin has been involved with the Special Olympics for 4 years. In addition to flag football, Kevin has participated in softball and basketball. Through the Special Olympics, Kevin had his first opportunities to play the sports he now absolutely loves. One area he continues to work on is expressing himself clearly, and he has made great progress in communicating his thoughts. Kevin feels most proud when he performs well on the playing field. A fun fact about him is that he is an excellent baseball player. As a teenager, the professional athlete he admired most was Mike Piazza, who was the standout player on his favorite baseball team.
