This year, the 2026 Dulles Plane Pull will be a pull-only event as the airport undergoes changes and expansion. It will still be a plane amazing experience on the runway, , a chance to test your strength as a team, and an opportunity to support Special Olympics Virginia.

Registered team members can bring guests, but the event will focus exclusively on the competition - there will be no festival, vendors, car show or food vendors.

The Dulles 5K on the Runway will take place as usual on Aug. 29.

While the format may look different, the mission remains the same: coming together for an unforgettable day of camaraderie, competition and impact for more than 23,000 Special Olympics Virginia athletes.
