Everything you need to know about the 2022 Law Enforcement Torch Run

The Law Enforcement Torch Run returns for 2022, culminating with Torch Run Week June 5-10.

Participants will keep the Flame of Hope burning by running, walking, and biking across Virginia with a goal of covering 5,100 miles for the 51 athletes competing in Orlando at the 2022 USA Games.

Become a Torch Runner:  

All registered runners will receive the 2022 LETR T-Shirt and will have the oppotunity to participate in a local community Torch Run and/or run on thier own.

You can participate as an individual or create a team with your favorite family, friend or colleague running enthusiasts. Head over to our registration page to get started today.

Fuel the Flame of Hope - Fundraise: 

Once registered, you can create a personalized fundraising page to collect online donations. The funds raised help to provide year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities and health care for 23,000 Special Olympics Virginia athletes of all abilities.

Raise $75 and you’ll earn an exclusive finisher medal, designed by a Special Olympics Virginia athlete.

Torch Runs: When? Where?

Join A Community Run: Local Law Enforcement agencies will be hosting runs throughout the Commonwealth during Torch Run Week, June 5-10. More information on local runs, dates and times coming soon!

Run Your Pace at Your Place: If you'd rather run on your own, no worries! We need everyone to lace up their sneakers to help reach our goal of 5,100. During Torch Run Week you can upload all your miles to our website to help us reach our goal of 5,100 and continue to fuel to the Flame of Hope.
