Name: Tommy Williams

Age: 31 years old

Hometown: Keysville,, Virginia

No. of yrs in Special Olympics: 20-21 yrs.

Sports: Basketball, softball and bowling

Metals: 11 Gold, 12 Silver, 4 Bronze

Ribbons: 19 Blue, 14 Red, 6 Yellow

 

Job: Longwood University (13 yrs) and RAR (6 yrs) – dinning and house keeping services

Hobbies & Interests: Bowling, going to Kings Dominion, Church, going to see movies and going to country concerts, favorite musicians are Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and George Straight

Education Status: After graduating high school, Tommy attended Wildrow Wilson Technical School and received an Industrial House Keeping Certificate.

Activities: Loves to play video games: favorites: Mortal Kombat and James Bond, Church: Takes up offerings, and is the bell ringer to indicator of start and finish of classes.

Williams on Special Olympics Virginia: “Special Olympics have given me confidence. It has made more of a person – I can do things that other people can do”.
