A little something for everyone...

Every day, in every corner of the state, Special Olympics Virginia athletes are proving the value of people with intellectual disabilities. In addition to our six annual state-level competitions and our state-level fundraisers, below are several ways to get involved in our program:

Richmond Corporate Games
Be a fan of Special Olympics and the Richmond corporate community by joining more than 500 participants from dozens of area businesses as they compete in nine zany events for bragging rights and a great cause each September. For details, contact Carrie Dyer, Director of Development.

PAR Tournament
Grab your golf clubs and link up with Special Olympics athletes during this 4-man Captain’s Choice tournament. The PAR (Promoting Acceptance and Respect) Tournament held each fall at First Tee of Chesterfield, also features individual skills competitions for Level 1 athletes. Trivia Challenge
Put those off-the-wall sports facts to good use in this spirited trivia contest each April at the Westfields Marriott in Northern Virginia. The fundraiser features personalities from the sports world, great food and drink, and a silent auction. Guests also will have the chance to meet several Special Olympics athletes and network with business leaders in the area. For details, contact Michelle Gates, director of development.
