From January 26 - February 5, 2013, PyeongChang, South Korea, will be the host site for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games, which will attract more than 2,500 athletes from 105 nations to compete in seven Olympic-type sports: Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, figure skating, floor hockey, snowboarding, snowshoe racing and speed skating.
Team USA is seeking coaches for the 2013 World Winter Games. Whether you want to be a head coach or assistant coach, now is the time to apply. Applications will be accepted at the Special Olympics Virginia office until March 27, 2012. All applications must be sent to Special Olympics Virginia at 3212 Skipwith Road, Richmond, Va 23294. All applications must be complete and signed by the President of Special Olympics Virginia before they are sent to Team USA.
