With your help, the possibilities for Special Olympics athletes are nearly endless. As is the list of ways you can contribute to this transformative program that brings out pride, courage and joy in athletes — while inviting entire communities to join in the celebration.
Here are just some of the options for contributing:
- Volunteer your time and talent
- Donate your birthday, like Jake Mullin, and request gifts for Special Olympics Virginia in lieu of other gifts
- Donate used clothing, shoes and books in specially marked donation bins (in Tidewater and Richmond)
- Donate cash or make a gift online
- Sponsor an event or fundraiser
- Donate stock or other securities
- Make a workplace donation or participate in your company’s matching gift program
- Make a memorial donation
- Participate in one of our special events
- Donate to our wish list
- Make a gift of life insurance
- Make a gift of personal property
